Teach your child the importance of service and generosity this holiday season by putting together a Creativity Bag for a child served by our partners at the Gaithersburg Judy Center.
The Gaithersburg Judy Center serves children birth to age 5 who live near Summit Hall Elementary and Washington Grove Elementary, providing educational enrichment and parent support to help prepare children to succeed when they enter kindergarten.
GSLP’s Creativity Bags provide these children with materials that build imagination, literacy, and fine-motor skills.
To participate, stop by the tree in the preschool hallway, pick up a bag, and gently tear off an ornament with a shopping list (kids love to choose the ornament!). Please return your filled bag by Tuesday, Dec. 11.
All items are available for purchase at dollar and discount stores.
Too busy to shop this year? The Preschool Office is also accepting cash or check donations toward the cost of the bags. Just $5 funds the purchase of materials to fill one bag.
Thank you for your generosity!
