Good Shepherd Lutheran Church members, current and alumni Preschool families, and community members who apply by Tuesday, February 11, 2020, will receive priority placement in our 2020-2021 classes. Don’t delay - popular classes can fill up early!

We recommend using our easy online application form on your phone, tablet, or computer to request your child’s spot today, but you can also pick up a paper application from the Preschool Office.

GSLP will open at 10:30 A.M. 1-08-2020 due to emergency weather conditions.

All classes at Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool will end at 12:00 PM TODAY, TUESDAY, 1/7/2020, due to emergency weather conditions. The preschool office will also close at 12:00 PM.

Please arrive promptly to pick up your child.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool always follows Montgomery County Public School's decisions on emergency closures, delayed openings, and early releases. The fastest and easiest way to learn about closures is to sign up for Alert MCPS. Visit the MCPS Emergency Information page to learn more about MCPS emergency closures and for the latest closure announcements. 

General Rules for Emergency Closures

If MCPS is closed due to emergency weather conditions, so is Good Shepherd Preschool. 

If MCPS has a delayed opening, Good Shepherd will open for classes at 10:30 AM. Dismissal is at the usual time.

If MCPS announces a general emergency early release for any reason, including inclement weather, all classes will end at 12:00 PM (including Early Pre-K Plus).
